So, I’ve been mulling over the date for our Halloween party, and I’m sort of torn as to when to host it. Originally, I thought I’d try the 24th since it’s a Saturday, and I figured the Saturday of Halloween was going to cause way too many conflicts. Historically, I’ve sworn to never host another Friday night party. However, that was during my 8 to 5 working days, and even with taking the day off, party prep was damn near impossible. I remember guests arriving and still not being dressed! That sucked. Now that I’m not employed full-time, I could definitely tackle a Friday night party — but could everyone else?? Mike said that people might be doing the last-minute thing, and not even show up because they couldn’t get costumes ready… While I encourage creative costuming, I know there are usually a few “muggles” that show up without costumes, and they are always welcome regardless!!
Whether you’re a long-time party patron or blog-lurker let me know your opinion on the the whole party date thing… It might help me decide!
