I’m sitting here on the Thursday before Christmas, drinking a glass of my new wine, Big House Red, and I’m glad as Hell to NOT be at work. The week leading up to vacation has been nightmarish at best, and it’s reassuring to know that I don’t have to be back at work until the third of January. Amen, brother. Somehow, Mike and I managed to spread ourselves VERY thin in the Christmas Budget department, and I’ve been running around like a mad-woman at work. Still, I’ve managed to cultivate my Christmas spirit, nonetheless. Also, I’ve found a new favorite Christmas song! In recent years, the only good Christmas songs have been remakes of the classics, but this one is all-new. “Maybe This Christmas” by Ron Sexsmith. Download it from iTunes and put it on repeat — you won’t be sorry.
What now follows is a very sappy Holiday message, so beware. :) My Holiday wish from me to you: Kiss that special someone under the misteltoe, tell your family you love them, throw a snowball (if you have snow), drink some eggnog (regardless of the diet your’re on), and have a very happy Holiday and fabulous New Year!
